These Lightweight Lumber Tarps weigh 87 lb, compared to conventional 18oz vinyl flatbed tarps, which can weigh over 120 lb. They are the perfect combination of heavy-duty and low-impact. Other lightweight tarps, like parachute lumber tarps, airbag tarps, or 14oz lumber tarps, are made with a thinner, weaker material and are often significantly more expensive. Trucking is hard, rugged work, and there just isn't room for fragile, dainty tarps like that. After researching and testing several options, we have finally found a strong, durable, waterproof solution, using RipStop, an industrial-grade fabric known for its superior abrasion resistance and heavy-duty performance. Flatbed tarps take a beating, and Ripstop takes it on the chin. No tarp is indestructible, but this lightweight flatbed tarp gets you a little closer. The PVC coating prevents moisture from penetrating the fabric, and the reinforced grid pattern of the Ripstop minimizes damage in the unfortunate event of a rip or tear. If you do manage to tear this ripstop lumber tarp, the PVC coating allows for excellent adhesion of our best-selling vinyl tarp repair tape. Don't forget straps!

• The reinforced grid patter of Ripstop minimizes damage in the event of a rip or tear, and the PVC-Coated Nylon can be easily repaired using either vinyl cement and patches or with vinyl repair tarp tape.
• This tarp is 24' x 27' with an 8' x 8' end flap and rainflaps. Two of these tarps can cover a 53' trailer with a foot of overlap.
