PACK OF 3. The Surge Buster SB807 Tank Baffle Ball is a retrofittable liquid surge control system that is dropped inside a tank to provide the maximum degree of operational safety when transporting liquid loads. Designed to function very differently from traditional baffle balls, Surge Busters eliminate 96% of the surge / kinetic energy in any truck, boat, aircraft, or vehicle with a liquid load, both front to rear and side to side. This also prevents a standing wave from forming by converting the directional momentum to a series of eddies and swirls throughout the tank. While creating this effect, virtually no directional surge can be produced. A result of this action, it has created an agitation system within the tank to help keep your product in suspension. Surge Buster SB807: 7" diameter disc for tanks with smaller openings, 27" assembled overall length, fits 7" to 14" tank openings. Surge Busters dissipate the energy within the tank. The resulting benefit to the liquid load hauler is a safer load, reduced stress and fatigue on the driver, aal 30-40% reduction in vehicle maintenance costs, and longer tank life. Surge Busters are designed to prevent surging while the liquid cargo is transported. These ellipsoid spheres are available for certain liquid cargoes, including fuel and water cargo tanks of all sizes, milk trucks, army surplus tanks, and any other liquid load haulers.
